British health care

The British Guardian reports:

“As myths and half-truths circulate, British diplomats in the US are treading a delicate line in correcting falsehoods while trying to stay out of a vicious domestic dogfight over the future of American health policy.”

Persynally, I don’t think that is going to be possible in the foreseeable future in a certain sense. It’s not like electing Obama is the equivalent of the Swedish general strike and now there is clear-cut social-democracy.

According to Obama himself, his plan gets phased in over five years time. There is not going to be a foreseeable moment when Democrats will not be susceptible to ads: “And Democrats raided the future of Social Security and Medicare, to enroll dangerously diseased illegal aliens and prisoners in addition to Viagra-using thrill-seekers.”

Hence, one has to prioritize, and as MIM said all along, the international 90/10 is principal, not the domestic 50%+1 of exploiters. There is no happy medium possible.

In the long run, no one can say that the anti-Amerikkkan struggle is not good for healthcare objectively-speaking, because Pentagon and Homeland Security expenditures choke off healthcare’s future. Also a factor is that racism may have much to do with why Amerika does not already have a better system. Racism may express itself in various forms that it does not in Europe. Whitey tolerates the second-highest imprisonment rate for himself in the world if Amerikkkans as whites are taken as a separate ethnic group. Reasons for wanting to pay for healthcare like shopping for luxury cars could be similar.
