Ex-Mossad chief calls for bombing Iran; Obama in healthcare cuckooland

The equivalent of the CIA in I$rael, the Mossad has an ex-chief who just called for bombing Iran over its nuclear program. Danny Yatom said on September 9 2009 that “only” a military strike can stop Iran from getting a nuclear weapon.(1)

This is especially ominous given that the Bush administration already floated that it might shoot down I$raeli planes on the way to Iran. The New York Times reported on two such occasions, one of them as such:

“‘This really spooked a lot of people,’ one White House official said. White House officials discussed the possibility that the Israelis would fly over Iraq without American permission. In that case, would the American military be ordered to shoot them down? If the United States did not interfere to stop an Israeli attack, would the Bush administration be accused of being complicit in it?”(2)

For Yatom to come along several months later to float the idea once again of attacking Iran shows that Yatom has reason to believe Obama would not shoot down the attacking I$raeli planes. Instead, relying increasingly on desperate persynal attacks on its critics, the Obama administration allows dangerous provocations to become more dangerous.

Only political babies choose their politics based on “Democrat” or “Republican.” The rest of us pay attention to what is actually happening.
