1. The “Moscow Times” reports another rash of Russian sailors’ being taken, this time for murder.

Three Russian sailors could end up with life in prison in the Congo. I could not confirm that story elsewhere, but I did find other reports of Russian sailors’ being taken around the world.

2. Equatorial Guinea pardoned a British secret service man after serving one-year in a 34-year sentence.
